How do you access my office computer & dental software?
We are HIPAA compliant and do not retain any patient records. For cloud-based systems, we access your dental software with an account log-in assigned to the Optum Elite team. For all other systems, we use a secure screen connect software that allows us to access your computer and dental software remotely.
How do you obtain information needed for insurance verification and billing?
In addition to remote connecting into your practice management software, we will need your in-office staff to scan all checks and EOBs into a folder that we can access daily. We will also be able to access any patient’s clinical notes within your software. Our goal is to maintain constant communication with your staff so that nothing falls between the cracks.
Should I replace my staff?
Replacing staff is based solely on the decision of the practice owner’s needs and goals. While some practice owners may decide to replace staff members with our services, others will keep existing staff and reassign tasks in a different capacity.
